From beginning of August 2015 the procedure to apply for a visa changed dramatically!
- 1. Go to the office to open your file
- 2. if requested from the office:
- 2a. Wait 4 days
- 2b. Report to the Secret Police downtown Sharm with the number written in your passport
- 2c. Wait 3 weeks
- 2. if Secret Police clearance is not needed:
- 2a. Wait 2 days
- 3. Go back to the office and get your visa or re-entry visa for maximum of 6 months.

Get to the big roundabout with hotels on its sides at the beginning of Nabq ( it’s the second one after the Airport coming from Sharm ). Take first right directly after Sea club Aqua Park hotel, 500m on the right there is a yellow new building.
Working hours are 8am-2:30pm, Saturday to Thursday. Ensure when you go take photocopies and photos. No facilities near by to do this.
You’ll need to go once to open your file, and return after 48h to complete the process.
