On March 4th, 2013 twenty four SWC ladies of 8 different nationalities met together for a very well attended and busy night at La Pentolaccia restaurant in Hadaba. For the third time we enjoyed the food and hospitality. Manu, SWC committee member, welcomed all the ladies in a short speech, giving the time for ladies to share their names and nationalities. Also she introduced Doro, SWC long time friend, and the two invited speakers of the night.
Doro gave an enthusiastic talk on a proposed organized hiking trip to St. Katherine at a time suitable to any SWC ladies who wish to join. (for more details on that please see appendix). Next speaker was Ursula of ILCC, which is located in zoo st, Hadaba beside Coca Cola store. And she gave an outline on the many languages courses at her school, and then she introduced Nour, one of the school Arabic teachers. Nour gave a short interactive Arabic test printed in a hand out sheet, which caused a rumble of laughter and giggles. With his help all together solved the test guided by the English/Egyptian vocabulary provided. Ladies had lovely chit-chats enjoying the Italian food all through the night. Our next meeting will be active, so get ready for a special night out!
