December 13, St. Lucia – the day of light and again time for the Sharm Women’s Club Christmas Dinner.
Our annual dinner took place at the Jolie Ville Royal Club “Bellevue” Lounge Bar and the “Zaman” Restaurant. Starting the evening with a welcome drink, gluehwine and canapes we got into the mood. Bea was selling tombala tickets. What a nice surprise! The money collected was used to cover costs for the website, emails, tips for this special evening and other costs which we still have despite the volunteer work of everybody. More than 70 women joined us.
For dinner we went up to the Restaurant, which was beautifully decorated and got us fully into the spirit of the season. The delicious menue started with craved salmon followed by pumkin soup and a main dish of choice between turkey, seabass or ravioli (vegetarian). Dessert was served at the Royal Club, which allowed some mingeling. The tombola prizes were drawn and the Christmas gifts, which we had brought for each other were chosen and Ursha gave us special discount booklets.
