I am a qualified TEFL teacher, with many years experience working in several different Primary Schools, ranging from EYFS-KS2. Having watched many of my mentors and more senior members teach, I have tried to focus my teaching methods on making sure my lessons are interactive, engaging and stimulating for each and every child, regardless of ability and the languages spoken. I believe that teaching should be child-focused and child-led, as this gives children ownership over their own learning, giving them a sense of responsibility and pride in what they achieve.
