In order to obtain the CDWS card, which allows you to work in the Red Sea all foreigners will need to have a work permit from 2010 onwards. This causes some difficulties as the diving industry is working mainly with freelance instructors/ guides. What do you think about this new rule? Do you think it will be good for the market, as the professionals will receive a permanent position? Or do you rather think it might cause some difficulties? Who should pay for the work permit, the employer or the employee? Do you think this might open a black market for work permits? |
