What’s new at RTA
Main Features of Buildings Tax Law (196), 2008
• Estimating the buildings tax price with 10% of the unit’s annual rental value
• Exempting the housing units whose annual rental value is less than L. E. 6000
• Excluding 30 % for the housing units, and 32 % for the units used for purposes other than housing for the maintenance expenses
• Specifying 25 % of the buildings tax yield for the municipalities
• The treasury shoulders the due tax, if social changes unexpectedly to the taxpayer or his/her inheritors that he/she can not pay the tax.
