Well, sharmers are a group of people, and whenever you have a group of people, you can never state certain specifications to define them, exept for the fact that they live in Sharm.

Some people are here for sun, sea, and quiteness. Others left their countries and came here for their significant others. Others left their own cities and moved here for a job, or a better job. So yeah, people here are very different than each other. Every one has his / her own culture, back ground, ambitions, purposes of coming...etc.

Miss Khalil, what a smart/clever question, above all if you are planning to move to Sharm!

Following experience there can be two very different ideas in the mind of who is planning to move to Sharm.

Basically, one is related to egyptian/natives citizens and another one is related to "foreigners" citizens.

Egyptians:

- move there just to make business. And some of them are ready to do anything in order to make it;

- in Sharm they find people coming "from the rest of the world". Since egyptians cannot leave their country (travelling-around-the-world) without getting a formal "Invitation" from abroad, by living in Sharm they could feel to learn something about "what there is out there (out from Egypt)". Fortunately/unfortunately "foreigners" are in Sharm mainly to spend some "enjoying/sun and sea" time during their holidays. Their life-style in Sharm do not correspond at all to the life-style they have in their country (where they have to "wake up early in the morning to go working -hard- and at night they are so tired that they fall asleep on the couch/in front of the television screen").

Foreigners:

- go in Sharm for holidays purposes (see above);

- move to Sharm getting fascinated from the atmosphere. Egypt in general is not just "another country". Actually, compared to many of "western" realities, seems to be really "another planet" where to live. Living in Egypt and/or in Sharm, turns to be a very interesting challenge and/or experience for foreigners;

- for whom who work in the tourism field, there is really a lot to do there. Many foreigners, being able to use their foreigner languages skills, find the Sharm-working-experience a worth-to-be-lived one;

- fall in love with an egyptian citizen and decide to spend their lives there. Who attracted whom in the "net" of love? Just the God knows. (For Islam, it is always the woman the "guilty" one. For other "cultures" either is the men the "guilty" one or both are "guilties" or "the God makes opposits people or similars people get attracted the one to the other").

PLUS/MINUS IN SHARM (UP TO YOU TO DECIDE):

- CHILDREN WILL LEARN FROM TWO TO SIX (OR MORE?) LANGUAGES. -AND NOT JUST CHILDREN!-;

- PRESIDENT MOBARAK KEEPS IMPORTANT MEETINGS THERE. THE AIR COULD BE FILLED BY VERY STRONG THINKING VIBRATIONS;

- YOU ARE IN A "THIRD WORLD" COUNTRY. PEOPLE (EGYPTIANS/NATIVES) THINK, TALK AND ACT QUITE DIFFERENTLY FROM PEOPLE COMING FROM A "FIRST WORLD" COUNTRY OR A "SECOND WORLD" COUNTRY.

Life has to be respected because we all come from the same Creator.
But we must cope with life putting in our minds that
no one of us is the copy of another one".
