Hi Ladies!

I shall be moving to Sharm in the next few weeks and shall be seeking work - hopefully in the HQ of a Dive Club but maybe as English speaking counter staff and was wondering if anyone could give me a rough idea of the expected monthly salary.

I currently work for a top city law firm in the Accounts Department and have excellent written and spoken English and some Spanish but that's it.

Do the Dive Schools generally provide accommodation? I thought not but please do let me know, if you would be kind enough to take the time to respond.

What is the minimum monthly salary I should be expecting?

Well...it always depends on the size of the Diving Center. Most of them do not provide accommodation, but few do.
Dont know if I am really up to date, but usally for counter staff you are earning between 800-1000USD. Often transportatin is included an discount on food in the located hotel.

Chris' estimation is quite accurate - 800$ incl. transportation, no accommodation for a job at a diving center counter, Guest Relation stuff in hotels get less. You can maybe find an office job (provided you have the computer skill etc. needed), where you might earn more after some while.
Really well paid job however, comparable to salaries in Europe, are unfortunately rare.
